The Show originated in Italy with actors. The first mention of it in the UK was by Samuel Pepys in 1662 at Covent Garden when he observed aPerf marionette show. Originally for adults it has evolved to become a hand puppet show mainly for childen.
It is performed mainly in the UK but it has spread to other countries.
My Story
Mike has truly honed his entertaining skills over the years. What began as simple performances in his school classroom and at fairs has blossomed into a vibrant showcase of puppetry and magic. His passion for entertaining has captivated audiences and continues to evolve, bringing joy and wonder to everyone who experiences his acts.

The Show had its UK beginnings in London. In the 1940s and 1950s and 1970s it became associated with the British Holiday at the seaside.
Popular at Fetes and Fairs.
Often it would be in shows in local parks, often put on by local councils. It evolved to birthday parties, events and weddings etc as it is today.
Mr Punch with his wife Judy plus loads of other characters. The Crocodile, Joey the Clown with the Sausages. The Policeman and the Baby. There are loads more and they all get involved in a multitude of adventures.
